Build a block-breaking rhythm game for virtual reality!
VR has become a staple of the video game industry, and opened up new ways for developers to explore game development. Rhythm games in particular have benefited from this VR boom – with wider audience reach and newfound experiences available for their simple mechanics.
Using Unity’s XR Interaction Toolkit and C#, you’ll build your own rhythm game where moving blocks can be sliced with VR controllers to the beats of a song. Along the way, you’ll explore other common mechanics, such as track building, managing different songs, implementing variable block-types, and more.

This course assumes familiarity with Unity, C# and the XR Interaction Toolkit, and works for Oculus Quest, Oculus Quest 2, and Oculus Rift S.
