Dreamed of piloting your own spaceship and trekking across the universe? Build your own aircraft piloting experience in VR, where you can fly over a floating island’s abandoned city in a virtual vehicle that can be controlled entirely with the buttons on the dashboard. From understanding the concepts behind preventing motion sickness, to learning best practices for implementing diegetic UI (UI elements located within the game world), you’ll learn skills that can be readily applied to a wide variety of VR projects.

You will learn how to:

  • Create an aircraft cabin experience in VR
  • Control a virtual vehicle using game-world UI elements
  • Import models from Blender and MagicaVoxel
  • Create custom events and delegates
  • Increase performance by optimizing the rendering of objects through occlusion culling
